I don't really get into holidays. I hate my birthday, 4th of July is always hot, Easter has that whole religion thing to it, Christmas is really about your family but New Years Eve is supposed to be about two great things...getting loaded with the person you love. That is why weeks ago I called my girlfriend and said, "Baby, what do you want to do for New Years?" Why? Because I know this trick. If I made plans for New Years Eve it would have been the wrong thing and she would be upset with me. So she said, "mm I don't know, I have to think about it but if you want to go out with your friends, you should do that." This is another trick. If I had said ok I'll do what I want, she'd of had a fit that I didn't want to spend it with her, so I said, "You know what I will keep things open and you can tell me what you want to do." As New Years Eve began to approach I said again, "What do you want to do for New Years because I can book a flight and come out to see you." She then says, "Well I think I'll still be in Idaho and with my friends from there, you wouldn't have any fun." She says this like she's doing me a favor so again, I don't buy into it, I say, "Baby it doesn't matter what we do so long as we do it together." She tells me she'll think about it. Yesterday I break down and call her and go, "You never got back to me about New Years so if you're still out in Idaho, I can still get a last minute flight," to which she replies, "Oh! I decided to go back to L.A. and we're having a party out here but it was so last minute I didn't bother you with it."
That is about the time that my head sort of felt like popping off of my body. All day today I was still trying to make things better but finally I said, "You know I am just going to go to that Justice party and then the afterparty so I guess if you're not too busy with your friends and party I can call you at midnight your time." Last txt she sent me, "You know what...just call me tomorrow."
.................so now I'm not going to get a midnight kiss but I don't even get a phone call. So this is where you come in cause I am all for any of these ideas or if you want to leave another one in a comment, be my guest.
